The bamboo tube nest is a perfect all-around formicarium for almost all ant species. It can be adjusted to suit every species' nesting needs. This is a high humidity and breathable nest with a water reservoir filled with sand at the back, simply inject water whenever the nest is dry instead of having to switch the entire nest like traditional test tubes.
The three-chamber design allows water to be gradually distributed throughout the nest, with the chamber closest to the water reservoir being the most humid; and oftentimes, where ants like to place their brood.
