Temnothorax Ambiguus is one of the liveliest and most colourful acorn ant species found in Canada, beaten only by Temnothorax Curvispinosus. Also known as The Bent-Spined Acorn Ant, they are found in most regions of southern-eastern Canada. The colours are most visible under the sun or bright light, the workers are extremely eye-catching too. As their name suggests, they are usually found nesting in acorns, twigs/sticks, logs or bark.
